In the cultivation of edible fungi, water plays a role in providing nutrients for the mycelium and mushroom body, and is an important factor in determining the level of yield and fast turning. The optimum moisture content of most varieties of culture materials is 60% to 65%. In the process of fruiting, the moisture of the culture materials and space is gradually reduced, and the water needs to be replenished in time. The following points should be noted when replenishing the culture medium of the bacterial bag:

Water supply. When the first tidal mushroom is harvested, the substrate is rich in nutrients, and when the moisture content in the substrate is high, the amount of replenishment should be less; when it is longer than the second tidal mushroom, the nutrition of the substrate is reduced, the moisture in the matrix is ​​also reduced, and the water is supplemented. The amount can be more, and the time for the bag to soak can be longer.

Apply clean river or groundwater when replenishing water. It is not appropriate to use the pond water and ditch water on the surface to prevent bacteria and pests from being carried into the substrate, causing pests and diseases.

The water temperature is as consistent as the temperature of the mushroom shed. Do not use cold water.

Primordium, mushroom buds do not spray water. It is best to use a sprayer to make up the water, and spray the nozzle upwards to the space to humidify it.

After replenishing water, if the water droplets on the mushroom body should be removed by ventilation. Otherwise, it will give rise to the opportunity for germs to grow and form lesions on the mushrooms.

Bacteria replenishment is an important measure to increase production, and is mainly used for edible fungi with a long cultivation cycle. Need to pay attention: 1. Mushrooms and other color conversion is completed, before the mushroom will have to pay water, make up the culture material moisture content of about 65%. 2. Most edible fungi will supply water in the tide period after one or two tide mushrooms have been produced. It is necessary to keep the bacteria first and then replenish the water. The amount of water recharge should be controlled within 80% to 90% of the weight of the original bacteria bags. 3. When the hyphae are sparse, the growth is weak, and the temperature is lower than 5°C, or when pests and diseases occur in the materials, it is not appropriate to supply water. 4. After replenishing water with three tide mushrooms, it can also supplement nutrients, commonly used urea, sugar, potassium dihydrogen phosphate and so on.
