The reporter learned from the quality supervisor of Guangzhou City that the number of substandard products in the spot inspection exceeded the standard for the total number of colonies, and many drinking water exceeded the range of one hundred to more than 900 times, among which the total number of drinking water of the Phoenix Mountain drinking water exceeded 980 times. The total number of pure water colonies on Wuling Mountain exceeded the standard by 475 times. In addition, oyster sauce chicken produced by Huang Ke Food Processing Factory in Liwan District of Guangzhou City, and marinated piggers in Haoshanfang of Haizhu District of Guangzhou City were all unqualified due to excessive coliform bacteria.

According to relevant experts, coliform bacteria are indicators of food contamination of microorganisms. The source of coliform bacteria is the same as the intestinal pathogenic bacteria. Therefore, the greater the content of coliform bacteria in foods, indirectly indicates the possibility of intestinal pathogenic bacteria contamination and may cause intestinal diseases.
