Ministry of Commerce: Prices of Edible Agricultural Products Fall for Two Weeks

According to the commercial forecast and monitoring released by the Ministry of Commerce on the 14th, the price of edible agricultural products monitored by the Ministry of Commerce last week (February 6-12) fell for two consecutive weeks, and the price of production materials rose slightly.

According to the Analyst of Agricultural Products of the China National Circulation Productivity Promotion Center, after the Spring Festival, the demand for meat, eggs, and vegetables dropped, and the price dropped, which drove the price of edible agricultural products last week to fall for the second consecutive week.

Specifically, among the agricultural products, last week's listing of northern greenhouse vegetables and southern vegetables increased. The wholesale price of 18 kinds of vegetables fell by 4.8% from the previous week. Cucumbers, green peppers, and peppers fell by the top, falling by 20.5%, 16.2%, and 9.6 respectively. %; white radish, canola and beans declined by 4.3%, 4.2% and 4.2% respectively.

The retail price of eggs dropped by 1.3%, a decrease of 0.9% from the previous week.

Meat prices fell mainly, with pork and mutton prices falling by 1.9% and 0.2% respectively; beef prices rose by 0.4%, and the increase narrowed by 0.2%; the price of white broilers was unchanged from the previous week.

The retail price of grain and oil rose steadily, with prices of rice, flour and peanut oil rising by 0.2%, 0.2% and 0.1% respectively. The prices of rapeseed oil and soybean oil were both flat with the previous week.

The wholesale prices of eight kinds of aquatic products rose by 0.3%, among which small octopus, small yellow croaker and big octopus rose by 1.4%, 1.2% and 0.8% respectively.

In the main production materials, the prices of energy, minerals, non-ferrous metals, rubber, light industrial raw materials, and agricultural materials rose, and the prices of chemical products, steel, and building materials fell slightly.
